This week, Virtuoso, the main international journey community specialising in luxurious and experiential journey, held its first Connects event in Edinburgh. The event was held at Cheval The Edinburgh Grand and noticed over 40 members and most popular companions from throughout the community come collectively in the Scottish capital for a useful day of networking. This marks Virtuoso’s second European Connects event in 2023, following the success of Connects Rome in May, with occasions in Barcelona and London set to happen September 13 and October 11, respectively.
The day consisted of associate shows and a variety of networking classes that allowed members to listen to the newest information from companions, forge new relationships and uncover the newest choices for purchasers. The event was adopted by a cocktail reception hosted at Cheval The Edinburgh Grand in partnership with The Johnnie Walker Experience Princes Street. Nineteen European Virtuoso member companies attended, together with house owners, managers, frontline advisors and unbiased contractors, and the 21 completely different most popular companions in attendance spanned lodges, experiential journey experiences, cruises and tourism boards globally, together with manufacturers similar to One&Only Resorts, EDITION Hotels, Rocco Forte Hotels and Aurora Expeditions.
